Good news
 

Went to the local Academy today. They had a lot of ammo, not everything I wanted but much better selection than before. I grabbed a variety of shotshells and a couple of bricks of 22LR.

I also had 3000 large rifle and large pistol primers backordered from one of the large online retailers since April. The large rifle primers shipped today. :23_30_104:

Now if the large pistol primers and bullets will ship, I'll be set!

Lemme ax you something blorp, at your Academy do they keep the rimfire behind the counter, or is it out there with the rest of the stuff?

Seems like their arrangement is rifle ammo and shotgun shells on shelves, and handgun ammo behind the counter.

22LR was behind the counter.

They had a sign limiting the purchases to 5 packs per caliber. Didn't matter to me as I was buying bricks of 22LR. Didn't see and .45LC or I would have got that. They did have 9mm and 7.62X39 though.

I was in one of the Austin stores.
